We Appreciate & Acknowledge Each Family's Diverse Culture
At Little Gems , families are our key partners and our essential goal is to provide support to families to identify each child’s learning and development.
We embrace and acknowledge different cultures in the centre and implement spontaneous and planned experiences to recognise different cultures. We encourage parent input to explore opportunities with families and to integrate language, dancing and cultural traditions in our centre. This is offered through the program to ensure all children interact and engage with these materials to enhance their understanding about diversity in society and in the centre.
At Little Gems we recognise each family’s individual circumstances and based on your income, you may be entitled to funding from the government for your child at centre.

Where All Children Are Treated Like Gems
We’re all passionate about early learning. Everything we do is for the benefit of the children in our care, because children are at the centre of everything we do. Our qualified staff know that the best early learning happens in environments where children feel safe, loved and protected. This requires a place where children are nurtured and their minds stimulated. All staff are qualified and hold senior first aid training with ongoing training.

Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Little Gems is implementing the Early Years Learning Framework. This new framework, or a way of understanding and working with children, is called Being, Belonging & Becoming. This framework helps guide educators who work in early childhood education and care.
The EYLF aims to extend and enrich children’s learning from birth to five years. It also sees relationships as an essential part of learning as children’s relationships with family, community, culture and land shape the learning and development that occurs.

Testimonials
Germaine has projected so much love and care for the children. Being a first time mum and having to let my son go off to pre-school is a big daunting as someone else will be looking after that child... Well Germaine has made this experience and transition an easy one as her loving nature and attentiveness towards my son was mind reasoning as I know he was in the best of care. She'll get far in life, as her passion, determination and patience will assure her success. Thank you.
